Qigong for Grief and Sadness

My initial reasons for wanting to study and practice Qigong were to support my own rehabilitation post-knee surgery, whilst pursuing my desire to train in a dynamic mind-body-centred practice, that had a respected and sound moral code, and which would also provide tools to centre and quieten the mind.
Having researched different styles of Qigong, I took a detour on my travels specifically to study – Medical Qigong – under the tutelage of Tevia Feng. The array of positive benefits and enjoyment I experienced on a personal level, led me to extend my stay and train to become an instructor. Tevia is without doubt a gifted master, whose passion and dedication to his chosen path, including his commitment to constantly refine and deepen his practice, is infectious.
His knowledge, patience, openness and approachability; combined with his grounded- and humbleness make him, in my opinion, an exceptional teacher who I hold with only the highest regard. I leave our time spent together a more well-rounded individual and I look forward to continuing and developing my studies with him in the future.

I am an Acupuncturist, Mom, Student, and Happy Wanderer. I love my life, and I’m grateful for all my blessings. I own a practice with such wonderful patients, I have a wonderful loving family, and a flexible schedule to homeschool my fantastic son. But my life has taken a toll on me. I’ve neglected taking care of my own health. Although I’m happy, I’m exhausted.
I looked for a Qi Gong Program so that I can learn how to manage the stress in my life, heal my joints, cultivate Qi, and at the same time, empower my patients to do the same. I did extensive research to find the right place, and I chose White Tiger Qi Gong because I absolutely love how you bridge the gap between the roots of Daoists’ traditions and Modern Medicine. I know I found the right place because the teachers are awesome and the other students are such extraordinary people. I love the repetition and how we just keep adding layers upon layers on each of the 5 Elements until it becomes second nature.
I’ve become more connected to my breath and my body. I’ve been feeling more energy and flexibility. The stress is becoming more manageable and overall, I just feel more open. White Tiger Qi Gong is such a great program to live, learn and grow from.

I feel grounded, centred and more connected as a result of this beautiful practice. Come rain, come shine I practice, practice, practice. Each time, I peel another layer thats no longer serves me. I always say that this is a multi-dimensional practice as it works on the core of our being physically, emotionally and mentally.

I have been practicing White Tiger Qigong for four months now and it is very beneficial for me. Suffering from various ailments (fatigue, headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, etc), I have already seen an improvement. With White Tiger Qi Gong I gain muscle strength, I learn to relax, to breathe and my organs are strengthened. It is a practice that brings a lot of energy and is very beneficial for all people who have bad conditions and even for those who are in good shape. I highly recommend you to try White Tiger Qigong!

I have a physical disability and I tend to be closed up. Thanks to the practice of this Qi Gong I stand up, I feel more deeply opened. Despite having difficulty doing certain exercises, I know that this practice helps me to make my body more supple, to relax and feel better.
